My name is Camilo Duran, known as CAM, and I’ve been with the Village since 2008. I began as a PCT, facing early setbacks, including failing my certification exam 3 times. However, my FA saw potential in me and encouraged a shift to the Reuse department. After transitioning to an AA role, I discovered my passion for administration and pursued further training, earning my PCT license and passing the CCHT exam. I took on various leadership roles, including PD Home Ambassador, Adequacy Manager, and CVC Champion, and was promoted to Facility Administrator Assistant after completing the DSSL program. I then became Facility Administrator, leading a center to a 95% DQI and 5% CVC rate. Six months ago, I was promoted to Facility Administrator II, where I’ve successfully improved DQI from 43.74% to 83.12% and reduced the CVC rate to 10.23%. What drives me is my passion for patient care and my love for the people I work with—both my team and the patients we serve. Their support is what motivates me to continually strive for excellence.

. I always wanted to work in the medical field since I was little but never imagine I would fall in love with dialysis. I started as a ICHD tech with Fresenius about 17yrs ago. Since I had already been with the company for some years, I was scared to try a different dialysis company. I did the commute for about 2yrs when I finally decided I to go full time with DaVita. This was the best decision I could’ve made and now working on retiring in the village. DaVita has literally changed my life. I’m still a technician but now in a Facility Administrator role. I want to not only continue my growth in the village but also continue making an impact in the dialysis world.
Born August 30th, 1988 to my wonderful parents Jose Macias and Rosa Gonzales (who is no longer with us). I have 1 brother and 3 sisters who all live in AZ. My husband, Adrian Lopez, and I have 3 beautiful children: 1 boy and 2 girls. Adrian JR (18yrs), Kaylahni (5yrs), and Itzayahna (1yr). I also adopted my little sister Nayomi which I consider one of my own.
